What Nail Curing Lamp Do I Recommend?

Jan 04, 2025

With all of the HEMA allergies going on, I am most definitely going to recommend a PROFESSIONAL lamp.  What makes a curing lamp professional?  Several things.

1.  The controls are on the back side of the lamp FACING YOU (because it's not designed for DIY).

2.  It has a removable reflective bottom.

3.  It's backed by a legit professional brand and comes with some type of warranty.

4.  Because it's manufactured by a legit professional brand, it's been tested and has the proper spectrometry of 365-405nm to cure gel polish.

I realize that ALL of these lamps are manufactured in China.  You can take a risk by going over the US company's heads and buying direct, but typically when you do, there is no warranty, and there's nothing to guarantee anything being stated scientifically.

My client's safety means EVERYTHING to me, I do not want them to develop a HEMA allergy, and I don't want to either.  I want them to keep coming back, and I want all of my Wildflowers gel products to cure properly.

I personally know Danny Hale (the owner of Gelish) and I know that their lamps have been tested and approved for use by salon professionals.

Buy a good lamp, and take good care of it.  This is the one I recommend!
